OHIP COVERAGE FOR ONTARIO RESIDENTS WITH A VALID HEALTH CARD

Children aged 0 to 19 years – one comprehensive eye examination annually.

Adults aged 20 to 64 years – one comprehensive eye examination annually for those with certain ocular or medical conditions. In the absence of disease, OHIP does not cover eye examinations.

Adults aged 65 and over – one comprehensive eye examination annually.
